Works well for about 1 to 30 seconds upon start up.

Webcam just doesn't work. I may work when it first turns on for a little bit before it starts to flicker and eventually freeze. I've tried updating the drivers, using different USB ports, and I've also tried their own proprietary software to use the camera. The symptoms and issues are all the same; starts, works for a bit, then freezes.

Don't gamble with this product. Other reviews online show that this is not a unique issue and is pretty standard. Resolution would be to ship it back to the manufacturer, but you're responsible for paying for shipping. I ended up buying a different webcam from a much more reputable competitor and it just worked outside the box with no driver installations/updates. Again, don't gamble with this product.

good color

For drawing: it's so blurry, pointed it at my keyboard and can not make out any of the letters. For my face it's alright because now you can't see any of my zits i guess. I havent messed with the mic at all due to it picking up so much ambient noise.

I don't think It lives up to its specs and reminds me of a $30 logitec webcam from 2003. for $100 I'm not really happy with my purchase. Maybe I just bought a brand?

- good image quality - decent microphone The image quality is very good and the microphone is not bad, but I use an external microphone.

- fixed focus Only downside is that the focus is fixed, so if you want to show something up close to a friend over skype, it will not focus on it and it will be blurry.

Not a bad web cam considering how inflated web cam prices are on places like amazon. But if you sit at a normal distance the quality is right up there with the logitech 920. Low light quality is also decent but obviously the more light the better. Works perfectly in Ubuntu 18 and 20.04 but the software that is included will not work so you don't get the extra effects like silly hats, beards etc.
