Strengths:
Mounting holes to allow (semi-) permanent installation
Power switch lets you turn off all ports when necessary
2x USB-C ports at the front for easy access
Weaknesses:
Cable only has USB-C, so I needed an adapter to connect to my computer's USB-A ports.
Power indicator is very tiny and hard to see.
Additional Comments:
You can never have too many USB ports. And the more recent the USB version, the better. These are the dark blue connectors, which I believe is USB 3.1. This device has 4 USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, and one USB-A charging port. A little indicator comes on next to each port to indicate when it is connected. I've had this unit for over a year now and have had zero problems with it. Would definitely recommend if you're in need of a few more USB ports.
