Nice little drive, awesome price

Strengths:

Much faster than hdd

Weaknesses:

Not a top speed performer

Additional Comments:

If you're looking to win throughput benchmarks, then move on. If you're looking for a vast improvement in speed on your older laptop or desktop, this is the drive. Pretty solid after a few months. It's turned some nearly unusable old hardware into fairly capable workstations. No heat, no noise, so far no problem.

Great value

Strengths:

Great price Reliable Longevity

Weaknesses:

Not the best performance

Additional Comments:

This drive ranks as one of the more long-lived SSDs. It lacks the performance stats of the Samsung, but for most people, even gamers, there is no noticeable difference. I am giving it 5 Stars because every once in a while I get a drive that simply loses its entire file system. In this case I have simply reinstalled, restored data from a backup and I've never seen one repeat this behaviour. Odd, and inconvenient, but not the end of the world, and worth the savings.
