Strengths:
Reliable, easy to use and looks good.
Additional Comments:
I use the reader daily to read and write to my SD cards for my 3D printer. I have it double sided taped to the bottom of my desk for easy use, it looks good there and the cable is long enough to reach under and back up to my pc. I've had it for about a year now and it's still working, which is longer than the last two I've purchased from amazon.

Strengths:
• Blazing fast card reads/writes
• Multiple inputs to read different types of cards
• Lights up when your card is mounted; when you eject or unmount your card the light will go out to confirm that you will have no data corruptions from ejecting the card early.
• Accepts micro SD cards in a dedicated port, no need to insert the micro SD card into an SD card adaptor before plugging into the reader.
• USB 3.0 for fast data transfers
Weaknesses:
• It is light so you have to use two hands to insert your memory cards; Perhaps they could add some sticky feet to the bottom of the reader so it gives resistance when pushing in your memory cards.
• I guess the USB cable is short for some folks, personally, I mounted the reader on my desk near my PC Tower with double sided 3M tape with no problems which fixed the issue with the reader being light.
Additional Comments:
I am happy with my purchase. I am able to off-load my footage from my drone quickly. I will be purchasing another one for my second editing station.

Strengths:
Reads all card types including microsd
very reliable
fast
Weaknesses:
yes the cable is very short
Additional Comments:
Definitely recommend this reader. Sure the cable is short, but the reader is very reliable. I'd rather pay for a reliable reader with a short cable than a reader that could corrupt your card but comes with a longer cable!

Strengths:
Fast Fast transfers
Weaknesses:
none found yet.
Additional Comments:
Previous reviewer must have had a dud. The cable is nearly a meter long so its not short. Its also nice and thick so not sure how it died on that person. im using this on my Late 2012 Mac Mini and although it has a SD card slot its not nearly as fast as this reader.

Strengths:
USB 3.0
Lots of compatible cards.
Weaknesses:
Uses a USB 3.0 micro B cable.
Supplied cable is extremely short
Additional Comments:
Supplied cable broke without much use at all. Replacement cable is USB 3.0 micro B, which runs $15-$25 for a cable of decent length - enough to buy another (better) card reader.
Would not buy again.
