Strengths:
Card works great with no hardware or software conflicts on new and much older machines with PCIe 2.0.
Weaknesses:
Lacks a bracket for Small Form Factor Cases.
Vantec and Startech will likely experience issues when installed alongside cheap IO cards from disreputable vendors. Bargain basement IO cards are highly problematic and it is unreasonable to expect higher standard companies like Startech or Vantec to “fix” the faults of cheap conflicting devices.

Additional Comments:
Great card, but needs SFF bracket to be included.
Stick with reputable hardware brands or Vantec cards will experience problems working alongside cheap devices.
I’m knocking off 2 stars because this card has no SFF bracket.

Strengths:
No problems under Windows 10 and installation was painless. No problems with my x58 board and added the ability to connect the front 3.0 USB ports in my newer case.
Weaknesses:
None so far. Unless you consider molex connectors a drawback.
Additional Comments:
Works as advertised and added a few more USB 3.0 ports to my aged X58 motherboard. Bought another to put in the wife's comp as well for the extra internal header

Strengths:
- Uses Renesas USB 3.0 chipset
- Fast throughput needed for full-speed USB 3.0
- Fast enough to support 1080p 60fps video capture devices
Weaknesses:
- the included USB driver CD is out of date, so don't use it; Windows Update will have the newest, so an internet connection is req'd.
Additional Comments:
I bought this card because my motherboard's USB 3.0 couldn't handle the speeds needed to capture 1080p60 video from my capture device. Many manufacturers suggested this chipset for best performance and compatibility, and they were exactly right. USB storage is also noticeably faster.
Memory Express also sells a 3-port external w/1 internal version of this card, which is otherwise identical.

Strengths:
Good chipset, uDP720201.
Works perfectly in Windows 7 x64, with a PCIe 1.0.
Very good value for the money, with 2 external and 2 internal ports.
Weaknesses:
Not a product weakness, but Memory Express should carry the companion Vantec UGT-IH203 2 PORT USB 3.0 Front Panel (3.5" bay); I had to order this from others.
Additional Comments:
Go for this, it will be compatible even with old PCIe like mine, and works just fine in Windows 7 x64 (Can't comment about other installations).
