No matter what speed I ran this fan at, either at low speed or high speed, it would always make a noise. At low speed, it made a faint and fast clicking sound, almost like a dying hard drive. At high speed, it makes a whirring sound that sounds like a mosquito.
This can't be a defect. I have bought this, not liked the noise, returned it for the other one at the store (since I assumed it was defective) and got the exact same issue. I have had fans that have not done this after nine years of use. I currently use super cheap fans that do not have this issue. Please, buy a different 92mm fan. You deserve better than to deal with the mosquito noise.
