Strengths:
1) Compact
2) Thumb screws actually works using your thumb and fingers, no screw driver required. Actually has plastic knobs and not metal screws as shown in picture with very good grip.
3) Works converting HDMI to DVI for older projector. The cheaper ones that I bought online didn't work. Spare your frustrations! Didn't try going DVI to HDMI.
4) Simple ziploc plastic bag instead of over packaging that requires knife to cut open clamshell.
