A Custom Keyboard Modders Dream!

This Barebone Version of the V5 Series 97% Mechanical Keyboard does not include any Key Caps or Key Switches. You can mix and match the Key Switches and Key Caps you get for fun and function. Choose the Key Switches you want with or without RGB LEDs, and you will get the per key typing feel and sounds you desire on every single key, with any Key Caps you want with the Colours, Transparency, and Materials you want to use.

This Barebones Edition V5 Custom Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Does Not Include:

• Key Switches (Keychron suggests K Pro Switches)
• Key Caps (Keychron suggests Double-shot OSA PBT Keycaps)

Note: The screw heads are molded into the case, so they have a very strong grip and won’t fall out.

A powerful ultra-low-power ARM architecture MCU equipped with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

Programmable Knob

Designed to enhance your creative workflow, the aluminum rotary encoder allows you to easily customize your favorite keys and macros on the knob through the VIA software.

Program V5 with QMK & VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more.

Hot-Swappable Key Switch Sockets

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

All New Screw-In PCB Stabilizers

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less shaky. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, backspace) typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron V5 also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
