Strengths:
Compared to its bigger brother the ASUS X670E-Creator, the B650-Creator: is nearly half the price, has more PCIe slots; no WiFi included on the board or holes punched into the rear I/O plate, integrated rear I/O plate, sufficient amount of fan headers, the BIOS flashback works. Always appreciate the CPU FAN header location for the rear case fan. The 90 degree USB 3.2 gen 1 (or whatever is the latest designation by the USB-IF). No "Gamer" "Gaming" silliness all over
Weaknesses:
Not enough USB type A ports, at least one more USB-A 2.0 port would have been great. The plastic "ProArt" label on the chipset heatsink is silly from a heat dissipation point of view (plastic is an insulator, not a conductor). I don't know if ASUS cannot paint the same logo onto the aluminum heatsink without the Lexan piece, and that would eliminate one more item from the BOM.
Additional Comments:
Overall, a nice motherboard and relatively subdued aesthetics (using the ProArt theme), with a great deal of functionality/features. Good job ASUS.
