Having the cable connections on the side of the PSU is a great idea. It makes connections super easy if the computer case has a removable side panel. I used this in a Fractal Design North case.

Technically there should be enough room for the cables on the side but the Corsair stock cables are very rigid and the bends from the side entry can interfere with the fitting of the side panel. The PSU needs more supple / flexible cabling for the side-entry design.

There’s actually a lot of cables included in the box. Perhaps reducing the quantity to make for better quality would be the solution. Curious how “Lee from Vancouver” got the fit “perfectly” for the same case.

This PSU is over my expectation. After replacing my PSU with RM1000x shift, my gaming rig is super quiet, cannot hear any noise (death silent on the desk right next to me at midnight) while browsing internet, watching youtube. I use 2 Noctua NF-A14 fans as intake, 2 Noctua NF-S12A as exhaust, 1 be quiet! ARGB Light Wings 120mm PWM high-speed as CPU air cooler fan, Gigabyte Vision 3070Ti (the fans do not spin in light load). Only when I can hear my PC running is when I play 4k game (60 fps), and the noise is from the GPU fans, nothing from PSU. Obviously, this RM1000x shift PSU can handle 4k game with ease, lots of head room.
