A slightly larger EC2 and smaller EC1

Strengths:

+3950 Sensor +Very Low Latency +Nordic MCU / 4K Polling rate ready +Best implementation of optical switches and side buttons (side button placement is good) +Lightweight weighing at only 64g for it's size is impressive +Excellent weight balancing + About a 5-7 days of battery life under heavy usage +Decent griptape included inside the box +Safer shape with no aggressive flares. Accomodates relaxed gripstyle really well for medium to large hand size

Weaknesses:

- Lack of coating and chalk/pbt feeling makes it feels cheap in hand -Razer synapse is one of the worst software -Scroll wheek encoder choice. The steps has very little tactility and kt feels cheap -Sensor position could be better -Some might find the hump to be a little to high making palm gripping with the deathadder v3 pro uncomfortable (I have a 19x10 hand just for a reference and for me relaxed claw is the best grip for this mouse) - Price is very steep and does not include the Hyperpolling dongle -4K Dongle provided a smoother or more fluid experience and offers little to no competitive advantage at the cost of extra $$$ and extreme battery life consumption.

Additional Comments:

The new Deathadder V3 pro is basically a Zowie EC Clone 1.5 . The front does not flare out aggressively and it's a much safer shape. It has a top tier sensor the Focus Pro which is basically a Pixart 3950. It's using a Nordic MCU that is 4k ready with the Hyperspeed Dongle. Its using their new Gen 3 switches which is basically just a binned Gen 2 and the implementation is the best. There is a slight pre travel and some post travel but the overall click feeling is satisfying and not mushy. Since it's optical switches it has no debounce delay which makes the click latency very low. The Side buttons , they are the best I have felt. It's very large and well placed and easy to hit. There is very little to no pre travel and post travel. The scroll wheel height is perfect . I'm only giving this a 4 star because Xlite V3 and Lamzu Thorn hasn't released yet otherwise I will give it a 3 out of 5 score for what it is. If you need a mouse right now and looking for an ergo this might be a good investment however if you don't then it's best to wait for the Xlire V3/Lamzu Thorn and save alot of money for pretty much the same performance as these mice will be using a 3395 sensor with nordic mcu as well and they are 4k capable.
