Stay as far as humanly possible away.

Strengths:

None

Weaknesses:

Software is terrible, it's slow as hell. Regularly lose the ability to even SEE the 5Ghz network, and when it does work, it's wildly inconsistent. Naturally you think to yourself: just restart it. The web interface is so slow that it's practically unusable. And about half the time, it won't even let you connect or log in. Keep a backup of your config, because it WILL start to factory reset itself when you restart it. Good luck getting your backup to apply, it only works about half the time. Bad unit? No. Their forums are LITTERED with complaints about these exact same issues. The takeaway? It's a piece of crap product, Netgear doesn't care or really have any incentive to fix bugs. But you're seeing that big ol' discount that Memory Express is giving you. No offense to MemEx here, but they're trying to get rid of these, and they're selling them at a loss. This device hasn't been officially supported for over a year, and you haven't even bought it yet.

Additional Comments:

Don't let the discount fool you, whatever they don't sell during this sale is going to e-waste. Hell, the stuff they ARE going to sell during this sale is going to e-waste.
