Strengths:
Great stick. Centres well, has extra axis for rudder control.
Very smooth and responsive.
Lots of buttons you can assign.
Can be set up Left or Right handed.
Works well with windows drivers.
Weaknesses:
Steer clear of Thrustmaster drivers. They will disable "core isolation" in Windows 11 pro. (It's what I have so can't say for sure it does in other versions but its likely it does.)
Its a total pain in the backside to remove the drivers as well and restore core isolation.
The Thrust software is also pretty useless - even after you take the time to figure it out.
Windows drivers work just fine and most sims let you fine tune in-game so the drivers are not really needed.
Additional Comments:
Great stick.
No contact parts to wear in the sensor so its very stable and centres well enough I can use 16x time compression in Rise of Flight and fly fairly straight and level.
Works for Lefties like me too, conversion is quick and simple, just a small phillips screwdriver - change one part and rotate the base plate, flip the switch on the bottom (reverses the switch order)
Drivers - avoid like the plauge. Installing breaks windows security and they are a pain to remove. It's what keeps this from five star rating, although its almost good enough to get five stars even with the driver thing.
