Decent Little Card for the Money

Strengths:

Decent analogue sound quality for the price point with ASIO support. (Tested with Foobar ASIO output). Very good quality TOSLINK (SPDIF) output, but unfortunately no ASIO support for SPDIF. (If you're not doing music production you probably don't need this anyways). This card works best with the correct installer available from the Asus website. TOSLINK works flawlessly right up to 24/192 as advertised.

Weaknesses:

No ASIO for the SPDIF output, but Directsound works fine.

Additional Comments:

Decent no frills card. Good way to add 5.1 sound to an existing Win 10 Box, or TOSLINK if you need that.

Works Great with Easy-to-Find Driver

Strengths:

Card works great with the easy-to-find driver from the Asus website. I bought this to add TOSLINK to an existing Windows 10 box and this card fit the bill. The analogue outputs are not as refined as some of the higher-buck sound cards I've used, but are acceptable at this price-point. What is remarkable is the TOSLINK output. Going into equipment I am very familiar with, this output is obviously very clean. Often, a poor quality or "jittery" TOSLINK output will obscure familiar micro-details on specific hi-resolution tracks. I was shocked to hear just how clean this output was at this price point. Supports everything from 16 bit / 44.1kHz to 24 bit / 192kHz and you can "de-select" sample rates your DAC can't handle to prevent badness. I'm happy. No ASIO support for the SPDIF out, but directsound works fine.

Weaknesses:

Analog outputs are "just okay". It does require you to go to Asus website and get a driver. No ASIO support for SPDIF (Toslink) output.

Additional Comments:

Decent Quality SPDIF (TOSLINK) solution (but No ASIO support for SPDIF)

Functional, but don't bother streaming with it

Strengths:

The hardware probably works, if one can manually find a better driver for it

Weaknesses:

Audio cuts in and out on a fresh install. Realtek driver installs automatically on Windows 10 and proceeds to work when it feels like it. Sometimes it'll stutter every few minutes, other times it'll stutter every few seconds. Broadcasting software running seems to cause the frequency to increase, but regardless of software you'll likely to run into this issue. When I swapped to an external sound card the issue was no longer present.

Additional Comments:

Look for a different audio card. It may be possible to make this card work properly if you can find which audio driver works best, but the default one and the alternative ones all work just as poorly. Save yourself the headache of constant troubleshooting and look for a better soundcard.
