Strengths:
Spacious
Solid
Plenty of room for future expansion
Additional Comments:
I needed to move my Proxmox server from its current desktop case to my 2-post rack. I needed a case that was future-proof:
- large enough to support a large fan/heatsink
- a case that could support multiple drives without having to always fight for space
- room for full-length cards. In the future, I will likely add a high quality video card and run an AI VM
One thing I did NOT want was a monster case (my rack is 20” deep and close to a wall in my server room)
I agonized for weeks about the choice of my this new case, hesitating between the RackChoice 3U (I own the 2U version) and the Chenbro case. In the end, I took a chance on the Chenbro. I thought it might prove to be slightly too deep but that it would give me the most space for future projects. As it turned out, the Chenbro case fit perfectly well in my rack. Just the right depth! I have it resting on the bottom of the rack.
This case is sturdy and good quality. I do not usually enjoy building computers anymore but moving my components from my existing desktop case to the Chenbro was uber-simple. I like how the middle cage is easy to remove so I could mount my hard drives. I had some issues getting the power supply in place but in the end managed to fit it in. All holes lined up as expected, screws were easy to remove, etc.
If you have a motherboard like mine with the main power connector and RAM oriented towards the middle cage, you might be disappointed: while I could fit in 2 drives, I doubt I could fit a third - and definitely not a fourth one. Of course, if your mobo is ITX or oriented differently, you will get access to all 4 drives. I left the right space of the case empty for now, but you can easily fit another cage in there or a fancy Icy Dock cage for hot-swap goodness.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
As always, amazing service from Memory Express - I got the case during my first visit at their Edmonton West location.

Strengths:
Lots of room inside to give more options for CPU and case cooling, as well as internal storage if needed.
5.25" bays allows some customization. I got a couple IcyDock enclosures for the right side 5.25" bays, and run this with 8 x 2.5" SSDs and a Slim Blu-Ray Reader.
The height gives you more options for PCIe adapters, without the need of risers.
Fits a standard ATX PSU.
Weaknesses:
Can be a bit of a pain to get things installed at first, as the documentation lacks details in certain areas. That just slows the process down though, so not a huge pain.
Front LED is really bright. (Might be a strength for some though.)
Additional Comments:
It's a decent rackmount case, especially for a home lab like in my situation. For the time being, I'm running ESXi 6.7U3 on the hardware that's in it. Things stay cool, thanks to the ample room for airflow.
