Not as reliable as I would like

Strengths:

Supports 4k with HDR turned on at 60hz

Weaknesses:

Doesn't handle resolution changes very well. Being a "Active" adapter, it doesn't work with VR headsets

Additional Comments:

I bought this to connect my new 4k HDR TV to my computer which I use as a computer monitor, video card is a EVGA 1080ti. Since I needed my single HDMI port for my Oculus Rift VR Headset. As long as you stay in 4k resolution, this adapter works well but when I ran 1080p software, this is where the problem started, when I would end the 1080p software, this adapter had trouble changing back to 4k, to the point where it would sometimes drop the signal and the TV would display "No Signal" thus needed to hit the reset button on the computer to reboot, this is something I don't like doing when Windows is running. My solution was to ditch this adapter, connect the 4k TV directly to the HDMI port and buy this adapter MX65195 and plug my Oculus Rift into a display port and now everything works as it should. So for me, this is a $40 paper weight.
