Strengths:
I have been wanting a Kensington for quite a few years. I finally had some money and purchased this model of trackball. I am not a gamer at all. This trackball works out of the box with Linux. I am currently running Fedora 31. Since the OS support is all the wasy back to Windows XP. I didn't think that there would be a problem. The trackball seems smooth. quite ergonomic. As with trackballs they take a bit to get used to. I have been using it for about 5 minutes. Thumb for Left click, index for trackball, ring finger for right click. middle finger for scroll dial. Very comfortable
Weaknesses:
- It is made of plastic. would be an excellent product if the chassis was aluminum.
-USB cord could be a bit longer
Additional Comments:
Great Trackball, works great in Linux. I bought this trackball for my next computer build. Very pleased with the product.

Strengths:
Simple device, works out of the box, no drivers required.
Comfortable to use (my palm is middle size).
Weaknesses:
cannot think of any
Additional Comments:
I found it more convenient with the extension at first. Used mouse for twenty years, and this is my first trackball. Removed the extension two weeks later and like it even better now.

Strengths:
- Ambidextrous design
- smooth ball operation
- small footprint
- scroll ring (handy for viewing webpage or long documents)
- Inertia Scroll feature
- great way to fight off RSI
- rubber wrist-pad included
Weaknesses:
- too light; needs to be heavier
- plastic housing gives it that cheap feel
- rubber soles not grippy enough
- scroll ring feels like it's grinding on another surface
Additional Comments:
The scroll ring makes it much easier on the shoulder. A great way to combat RSI.

Strengths:
Scroll Ring is much better than wheel of mouse
Trackball is big for precise movement
Prevent shoulder pain when using mouse for all day
Don't need much space on desktop
Weaknesses:
A little time to get use for using trackball.
Hard to draw circle if you need to draw curve lines and circle in drawing program or Photoshop.
Not as good as mouse in playing shooting games.
Product material feels like cheap plastic.
Additional Comments:
I've been using many trackballs and mouse for many years. Trackball does prevent shoulder pain and back sore if you use mouse for hours every day. Kensington Orbit Trackball is the best so far, even better than it's big brother Kensington Optical Expert Mouse that I tried. Orbit Traackball is cheaper. The ball rolls smoothly and scroll ring operates much better and precise than the wheel on mouse. Not good in control for shooting game, but good for most that I need. Just love it.
