This a great board for sure. With AMD 7950X on it with latest bios and with a 420mm cooler i like what i see. For 7950X I recommend minimum 360mm AIO Cooler if thats your plan for cooling . With Precision Boost Overdrive on and bios set to EXPO I the clocks run right up to 5.9 Ghz.. wow and yet temps stay pretty darn good @ mid 50s to maybe 60° C ~ 65° C for short periods.

Only real negative is drivers. If you try to install Windows 11 22H2 you will have problem when install gets to the connect to internet part in install, as Win 11 does not have network driver period for this board. No internet connection and 22H2 wont let you finish install. Workaround is to find Win11 22H1 the previous version and use that and then update to 22H2 later with windows update. 22H1 will let you "continue with limited setup" without network driver. Then you can install driver for network after windows loads. Easiest way is before you start this install is use another computer and go to Asus driver support page for this exact board and get Network driver package, bluetooth, latest audio driver and also get the latest chipset driver pack. When you get to your desktop install first the chipset drivers package and reboot and then install network, audio and bluetooth. This will save you just a ton of time and much frustration.

Was it worth it? Yes. Just better driver packaging would have been real nice. Good idea to run system file checker in a command prompt window couple times as it did find corrupt files and fix them inc after it was all finished installing.
