Weak Airflow

Strengths:

Bought these as I had limited clearance for my radiator.

Weaknesses:

Unfortunately they are extremally weak and no air moves through the rad. Disappointing, because Arctic Cooling has been around a while.

Additional Comments:

I spent the extra and decided to stick with the best Corsair Slim AF120 Fans. These are good for emergency situations but not a permanent solution.

Garbage

Strengths:

Cheap and thiner for my needs

Weaknesses:

So ive seen Artic cooling around for some time. And as the previous post I can agree on that since it happened to me. And actually shattered from the weight of the hub. I have set thses as exhaust fan on a top rad. The blades started to hit the rad making aweful noise. I have made spaces on these fans and my other one is now making that noise grind its blades and hitting the rad fins. Oh right last point one of these fans I got also just stopped working. Even tryed different fan headers.

Additional Comments:

Dont buy there are terible I expected way more from this company. I dont think im using Artic cooling again.

Poor quality fan, poor manufacturing tolerances, tears itself apart at high RPMs. Do not buy this. Memory Express doesn't refund if the fan destroys itself.

Strengths:

Relatively cheap option out of the few slim 140mm fans available on the market.

Weaknesses:

At over 80% speed these fans are so thin, weak and unbalanced that they bend outwards and scratch against the inside of the fan casing. At over 90% speed the fan blades start to bend upwards and protrude outside of the 15mm thickness of the fan, striking the computer case if mounted as an intake fan. Terrible quality control and way too flimsy. Poor design.

Additional Comments:

I purchased 3 of these fans, taking a gamble after reading other reviews online of these fans having a knocking/ticking sound when defective, and a 50-50 chance of getting defective units. I installed them according to the manufacturer instructions, using the provided stick on washers between the fan and the PC case. I was trying to run these as intake fans. I got three duds; two of them scratched against the inside of their fan casing when run over 80% speed, making a horrible scratching/ticking sound. The third had such bad runout that the fan blades protruded way outside of the 15mm fan thickness and one of the fan blades sheared off. Worse yet, Memory Express was unwilling to refund for the fan that broke off its own fan blade as they claim to not do returns on items that have broken fan blades (even though it was the fan that did it to itself due to its poor quality). This was well within the 15 day warranty window. If an item breaks because of poor manufacturing design and terrible quality control, shouldn't the store step up, replace the fan that breaks itself, and deal with the manufacturer that provided the poor quality products for them to sell?
