Awesome CPU and great customer service!

Strengths:

- Strong CPU for multi-threaded tasks - Fits in most AM4 motherboards - Easy to install

Weaknesses:

- Hot! You will need something decent to keep this chip cool. I'm using a Kraken x63 and it usually stays between 40C and 65C depending on the loads. - I've experienced instability at stock clock rates with precision boost overdrive (PBO) and I'd recommend turning it off. I think this has more to do with the motherboard's power delivery system, but I just turned it off and it fixed my issues.

Additional Comments:

I'd recommend this CPU to anyone who could benefit from many cores. I run many optimization programs in Matlab and noticed a massive bump in performance when I upgraded from my Ryzen 5 5600x. If you are strictly gaming, I'd recommend sticking to a Ryzen 5 5600x or the newer Ryzen 5 7600x (if it is a new build and you could afford DDR5 and the more expensive AM5 motherboards).

Upgrade from a 3900XT, Yes Please!

Strengths:

- Boosts nicely with Asus Crosshair VII (51xxMhz) configured - CCX L3 Cache / IPC Improvements are largely noticed over 3000 series - AM4

Weaknesses:

None noticed at this time

Additional Comments:

After a year of tinkering with the 3000 series, this processor change was noticeably different. CPU Supports Higher DDR4 frequencies and great FLCK/CCX OC capabilities. Higher than expected boosts clocks when cooled correctly. Recommend offset coolers for better thermal contact. Beast of a CPU
