Strengths:
Plug it in, plug in your connections and walk away from it. This is the best kind of switch. I don't have to reboot it, I don't lose connectivity, This switch worked right out of the box and I haven't had a single issue with it since it was first plugged in (over two years later).
Weaknesses:
My previous switch had the connections on the back, so I had to pull the cables to the front mounted connections. This is hardly a product weakness just a small complaint on my side.
Additional Comments:
The Netgear ProSafe™ 16 Port Gigabit Desktop Switch is exactly what you want. You unbox it, put it where you want, plug in your connections, power it up, and then forget about it. It just works quietly and you never have to go back to it again. Nice job Netgear.
