Decent Mic, Poor Durability

Strengths:

Sounds fairly good, can attach it to any pair of headphones that has a consistent enough surface to stick the magnet to.

Weaknesses:

Given how much it costs ($99 at review and my purchase), this is not well made. I'm about 1 year out since I originally bought mine, and the cable is dying. If I turn my head slightly wrong, the mic will output a horrendously loud connect/disconnect clicking noise as you move; if I keep my head turned slightly wrong the mic won't pick up anything at all. I am not hard on my electronics, and this has crapped out after 1 year of use.

Additional Comments:

It is a good microphone, but for $100 I expect it to last significantly longer than 1 year. You can find comparable or better sounding microphones for cheaper, and it really wouldn't be difficult to find one that is more durable. The only strength this mic has going for it is that you can attach a boom mic to any pair of headphones. Not worth the durability problems in my opinion.
