Strengths:
None what so ever.
Weaknesses:
Extremely difficult to set up
Entirely unhelpful error messages -- Something went wrong. Try again later.
Additional Comments:
After spending almost two weeks trying to get this piece of garbage set up, I have concluded that it is a complete waste of $200.
The default error message is "Something went wrong. Try again later". This is entirely unhelpful in trying to understand whatever the actual problem might be The only thing that does seem to work is the check for updates function. Although, there aren't any available updates.. Otherwise, there is no apparent functionality for this thing.
Don't waste your money.

Strengths:
Easiest set up possible
Fully HDR Compatible
Weaknesses:
Amazon Prime and Disney+ have their audio out of sync with the video on the device >95% of the time. After doing research, this is a software problem from NVIDIA and there is not a solution. Really chaps my caboose.
Machine crashes 3-6 times a week.
Additional Comments:
It is certainly a powerful machine though after being out for so long, you would think that NVIDIA would have ironed out the kinks. If it was not for COVID, I would have returned it.

Strengths:
Works great. Easy to set up. AI upscaling looks good.
Weaknesses:
If you owned a previous Shield, some of your purchased games will not be compatible. I never saw any reviews mention this.
Portal, Half-Life and the Jackbox games are among the handful that do not work.
Additional Comments:
If you are looking to stream Netflix, Amazon Video or use Plex it is great. If you are looking to game, go with the pro.

Strengths:
Super fast it is faster than the 2017 model it hides away behind my tv. The remote new design is excellent backlit and bluetooth, has the power button on it no more going into settings. The AI picture enhancements feature is excellent too.
Weaknesses:
2 gigs of ram most streaming boxes are 4 gigs no usb ports but there is microcard slot to expand the hard drive
Additional Comments:
If your not a big gamer this unit is exellent the ram could be better and the price point is high its faster than the 2017 model with extra features its not a stick like the roku or Amazon stick its tube shape is unique the new design remote is amazing and it even works on the 2017 model it would have gotten 5 stars but the ram was a dealbreaker
