Buy something a little better

Strengths of the product

Under a 1000 dollars

Weaknesses of the product

Bad battery life. I thought buying something especially from asus would hopefully be a decent laptop under $1000 but I was wrong. This laptop has some major driver/factory errors right out of the box. For some reason the 1650 video card comes from factory with only the video card driver installed and the nvidia high definition audio drivers and devices are nowhere to be found. I have tried updating the drivers and messing around with the device manager to get the audio chip on the gtx 1650 to show up but its glitched out.

Additional Comments

If your using this laptop just as a basic laptop it's fine but if your wanting something that you can hook up to a tv out of the box and watch a movie stay away. Get something in the $1500 range or higher. I'm sure I can fix this audio problem with a simple OS reinstall or a bios update but this should come out of the box working... It's not fun watching a movie on your big screen without audio!
