No Problems At All

Strengths of the product

Plays anything I throw at it in 1440p and a lot of games in 4k with great FPS. Looks good and NO RGB. More compact for smaller cases. Never had any issues with it.

Weaknesses of the product

Thermal Pads on memory chips should be replaced but not a deal breaker. MSI should be remedying this in newer cards.

Additional Comments

Some complain this card gets hot and while it does run hotter than some cards out there it is a far cry from the reference card and never enters dangerous territory. At idle and just basic computing it will sit between 35-41C and even after 4 hours of Gears 5 at at 1440P in my office with window closed, AC off and the door shut it peaked at 75C. I didn't really notice the noise, I have had louder cards in the past. If you are comfortable I would open up the card and put bigger thermal pads on the memory modules but I haven't got around to it yet. There are better 5700XT partner cards out there and there are much worse. I wanted the Red Devil but it was nearly impossible to find and sold out everywhere and couldn't wait any longer so I took a chance on this card and I wouldn't feel bad recommending it to any one out there.

Great, Powerful Graphics Card: Runs Cool and Quiet

Strengths of the product

Powerful Card, almost 10 TFlops of Gaming Goodness on Factory Clocks! Competes with RTX 2070 / 2070 Super but still has FreeSync for my Samsung 4K Gaming Monitor. AAA Titles like PUBG, Anthem and WD_2 are smooth at 4K 60Hz at High Settings, or at Ultra at WQHD (1440p). I get cool, quiet operation, unlike other review, idles in the low 40° C range with case closed. Rises up to high 70° range in 4K Gaming with 100% GPU use on long Marathon Gaming sessions...

Weaknesses of the product

Known Issue: Can Blue Screen with AMDKMDAG.SYS error with FireFox and Discord if Hardware Acceleration is used on these apps. AMD is working on solution.

Additional Comments

Powerful cool and quiet card with many AMD software features and apps to optimize your gaming experiences to your liking. If you have a Freesync Monitor, or want the highest frame rates for the dollar, the RX5700 XT chipset is your best bet right now. Otherwise, RTX Cards offer more visual features in the same price range (at lower frame rates). Would recommend to friends and buy again...

Bad Thermals

Strengths of the product

High FPS, decent looking, no LED.

Weaknesses of the product

The card I got idled at 50c in an open-sided case. Ramped up to 90% fan speed almost instantly and was extremely loud. With case closed, would overheat and crash.

Additional Comments

Returned. I couldn't trust that it would last or not hurt the rest of the computer over the long term.
