Strengths:
Large, fast, controlled
Weaknesses:
Single monitor
Additional Comments:
I loved this monitor so much that I bought a second 49" but I saved $300 and bought a samsung and was so totally disappointed that I gave it to my 15 year old for gaming. The Asus has software which allowed me to control a second monitor as well so that when I was working I had four screens on 2 monitors. I never had an issue with this monitor except during conference calls, if I shared a presentation it shared my whole screen with the software rendered image in the corner rather than just the application at the viewers full screen... hence the requirement for the second physical monitor.
There may have been a fix for this by adding a second cable to the ASUS but I never tried.

Additional Comments:
I purchased this unit in the summer. Within 5 weeks a large line appeared on the monitor and it had to be replaced. Fast forward another few months and a large red dot has appeared on the centre of the screen, so this one will have to go back as well.
I highly recommend this form factor, and it eliminates the need for a second screen, it's very useful for work, but the build quality appears very poor as this is the second unit to fail on me in less than four months.
If you're going to buy this monitor budget the extended warranty in with your purchase price. I'm grateful that I did.

Strengths:
Everything looks good, runs smooth. Excellent for streaming and productivity because you get two monitors in one.
Weaknesses:
As this monitor is Freesync, you've got to buy Radeon. Many games will not be able to run this many pixels at a constant 145hz so you need it. Currently the best Radeon card you can buy is a 5700, which runs great but doesn't have enough horsepower to run certain new titles max graphics at the monitors framerate. Still, if you have freesync, the dips in frames aren't so bad. I also get weird flickering with some titles, like RE3. I think newer generations of Radeon cards will be strong enough to fix that.
Additional Comments:
If you want a huge monitor. This is for you.
