Bought this yesterday from memory express and good thing I manage to buy one as almost all the rtx 2070 super are running out of stocks, so far I’m impressed with this card it’s almost the same perfomance as the rtx 2080. I’m glad I bought the rtx 2070 super instead it is cheaper than the rtx 2080. Fits very nicely in my matx case and still have plenty of room left.

Best overall choice between 2060S and 2080S

Strengths of the product

Basically a lower end 2080S which, for the price, is better value for the average gamer. Stays fairly cool under load.

Weaknesses of the product

Overall pricing, in the bigger picture. Size may be an issue for some.

Additional Comments

If you catch this card on a good sale, say the lowest price it's ever been at $700 (at the time of writing), it borders on "no-brainer" territory. The average gamer might still balk at the price, but if you want performance without absolutely decimating the bank account on a 2080ti (which is still 2018 technology by the way). this is a great option to consider. Paired with my Ryzen 7 3700X and displayed on a ROG PG278QR, I'm very happy with the performance at 1440p 144Hz @ Near-Max settings for newer titles like CoD: Warzone, Apex Legends, TW3 and All-Ultra for older games I still play such as FFXV, SC2, TW: Shogun 2. This is out the box performance, no OC, no tweaking.

The best third party RTX 2070 SUPER on the market by far.

Strengths of the product

Amazing Card, Out of the box, doing nothing hits 2ghz on the core when in game. Very handsome card, imho, not too flashy, just right amount of lighting. Able to easily drive my 1st generation RoG Swift 1440p Monitor without a hick-up.

Weaknesses of the product

Expensive, this is the most expensive 2070 Super available in Canada. Heavy, This weighs more than my old 1080Ti with a waterblock. Large, Was a bit of a pain to install due to how tall the card was, had a hard time putting in the thumbscrews to attach it to the PCIE slots on the case.

Additional Comments

While expensive this card is damned close to a 2080 while being much cheaper. It may be the most expensive 2070 Super available as of my writing this it still is within spitting distance of the performance of a RTX 2080 while costing almost $150 less. That's a win in my books for sure. It may be large and heavy, but if that's what it takes to keep the thing cool while running games then that is the price I will pay for amazing performance. I do have to note that while this listing states the card needs an 8-pin and a 6-pin for power the actual requirements are for 2 8-pin plugs. I was a bit surprised by that, I'd prepared to install it prior to purchasing, but it was a simple matter for me to add in the extra pins needed from my PSU.
