Great board, lots of features.

Strengths:

Same VRM as the Formula Mobo, and is plenty even for an overclocked 3950x ,16 phase with no doublers. I have a 3900x at 4.4ghz all core with 32GB of 3600mhz ram running Cas15 no sweat. The crosshair line has always been a safe bet for good OC and features in mid high end.

Weaknesses:

Would be nice to get 10Gbe RJ45, but probably just increase the price by $80. Other than that I guess no RMA facilities in Canada is a PITA. If you need quick turnaround if it is a main computer, go with instant product replacement through memX. It's a breeze.

Additional Comments:

Solid board, well featured, an OCs as good as anything out there.

Why did they die?

Strengths:

It gave me something to do. Taking apart my PC and putting it back together over and over...

Weaknesses:

I had one dead on arrival, returned to memory express, no problems. The other worked for a few months then died, now going through Asus warranty, Asus reluctantly paid for shipping. Still waiting on that, sometimes I wish I got the warranty from memory express. But I'm a cheap person and already spent 500 bucks on a motherboard so go figure, cost doesn't = reliability.

Additional Comments:

Lots of features, but the board is dead, currently its main feature is box filler in a fed ex truck.
