Good card

Strengths of the product

-Best performance for the money. Like 5-10% ahead of the more costly RTX 2070. -Compared to the regular 5700 non-XT this card is the better value, as you don't just get a 14% perf increase for 14% more money, but you also get an aluminum back plate, and a nicer looking card.

Weaknesses of the product

-Virtually no overclocking headroom on the memory, even though the reference designs seem to use Samsung GDDR6. -Loud and hot unless you mod the cooler by removing thermal pad and putting thermal paste, which really also requires you to grind down some metal polls, holding in back brace screws. Else the thermal paste won't hit the cooler as the original pad is like 1 mm thick and now it won't reach.

Additional Comments

Get an AIB partner card 5700 XT with a better cooler instead, unless you're water cooling.

Strengths of the product

A very good video card for gaming and bitcoin mining

Weaknesses of the product

It's a stock cooler

Additional Comments

As usual AMD makes another fantastic video card. it's about 1% better than the VII with a much lower price tag. My last video card upgrade was a 980ti. I scrimped and saved to get that card, it lasted me 4 years. But once again, I'm back to AMD. Nvidia is just not worth the price tag.
