Cheap PSU

Strengths:

Good price when on sale for 750w semi-modular gold rated PSU

Weaknesses:

Fan is cheap and very noisy on PSU. If you like not hearing fans run on your PC look for something better.

Additional Comments:

Good price/Noisy PSU fan

Psu overloaded my computer and destroyed it

Strengths:

So I bought this, installed it, and flicked the switch on to a burning smell. This power supply killed my ssd, graphics card, motherboard, and blu ray combo drive. I’m unsure about the ram and cpu as I don’t have an extra lga 1150 board to test them in. Needless to say I contacted gigabyte and spoke to someone in the service/warranty department. They recommended I reset the cmos on the motherboard. That didn’t work. So I was then told to contact the motherboard manufacturer (Asus). I then tried filing a claim through the gigabyte esupport channel. I detailed my experience and posted pics of all receipts and offered to send in my computer. The reply I got was them offering to warranty the psu which memory express was already kind enough to replace. This psu destroyed my pc at the end of the day and gigabyte won’t help me replace A terrible company for support.

Additional Comments:

Very bad experience

Good value when on sale

Strengths:

Single Rail psu Decent quality components Modular Quiet

Weaknesses:

If not on sale, I would go with a brand that has a more reputable rma service.

Additional Comments:

I read this psu is made by cwt and comes from same factory as corsair psus. Running a 2070 super with a 3700x on x570 with no issues. My pc was initially randomly restarting when gaming and I was worried it was my psu but it turned out to be the whea 17 errors, latest bios fixed that.
