Strengths:
Works with both Type A USB 3.0 and Type C 3.1 ports.
Weaknesses:
The included screwdriver is a nice add on but is basically useless to manipulate the tiny screws with as it not magnetized.
Additional Comments:
I purchased this enclosure to upgrade my system SSD from 256 GB to 1 TB using a USB port. It was simple to install the new SSD in the device and clone my system drive to the larger SSD. With a quick SSD swap, my mission was accomplished. By putting my old SDD in the enclosure, I also have an extremely fast, high capacity portable drive.

Strengths:
cheap, simple, and usb C
great burst read and write speeds. (up to 1gb/s
USB A to C cable included
small and lightweight
m.2 2280 - 2230 support
Weaknesses:
under long transfers gets a little toasty
slowish for long transfers due to heat (300mb/s)
Additional Comments:
great little device but not for long transfers. if you need something to do short transfers 50-100gb then this is great but not great for a data transfer drive or a external game drive. if you disable certain settings in windows you can see max transfer rates of up to 1gb/s but usually hovers around 500-650mb/s. when the thermal threshold is hit it slows down to 90-150mb/s. i would still give this 5* but i will eventually replace this with a more thermal conductive enclosure. i used this for the last 6 months so this is a long term review. still a fantastic buy if you need something cheap for an ingest drive (photo and video editing) or as a storage drive for work or school.
i have currently installed a WD Black 500gb SN750
but it has been used with multiple drives from various companies and hasn't had an issue reading them unless the drive was already dead.
quick tip:
right click the drive in file explorer
properties
hardware tab.
jmircon generic
then select properties
then select change settings
go to policies
and enable better performance.
* this will disable quick disconnect but increase speed of the drive.

Strengths:
Cheap, simple, easy to use, compact
Weaknesses:
- One of the screws holding the unit closed was cross threaded, and after removing, the screw will not stay in place.
- performance is a bit mixed, still doing some testing to see what kind of consistent performance I can expect
Additional Comments:
Great price, and breathes new life into older/smaller capacity NVME drives as a fast external solution.

Strengths:
Got the job done
Fair pricing
Usb c for maximum transfer speeds
Weaknesses:
Tiny screws that hold it together are a pain
No extra screws so don't lose any
Additional Comments:
Decent quality enclosure for the price. Not the best but if you're using it to clone your existing hard drive to a new m.2 nvme like I did it's perfect!

Additional Comments:
My PC has Windows 10 , I use Crystal Disk Mark 6.0.2 x64 (UWP) on this unit with a Kingston SA2000M8/250G installed in it. set at 1GiB the Seq Read 250.8 MB/S and Write 251.3 MB/s. While running, the unit is slightly warm so I use Stanley IR Thermometer to scan its temperature and it is at 31.5 Celsius. These are obviously better results than their other selling model with MEMX# 76953. So over all, this is slim and sleek Aluminum case, easy to install .Data speed is impressive and it works for me well and price is very competitive. It comes with both USB C cable and USBC 3.1 to A cables so that is bonus. The only one thing that caught my attention is that the screws are little hard to turn just like working on any laptops., patience is required when installing . I would recommend it to others for M.2 NVMe PCIe drive to be used externally
