Strengths:
Finger print login. runs cool. accurate screen colours (not bright, but accurate). thin and very light. very upgradeable: 2x ram slots, 1x m.2 sata slot and 1x 2.5" sata slot.
Weaknesses:
Lots of bloatware pre-installed which had to be uninstalled. Running an old version of Windows 10 so windows updates took forever before it could be used.
Additional Comments:
Picked this out for a family member who primarily browses the web and wanted something thin, light, fast, with good battery life, around $1k, and with a larger screen than an equivalent macbook air. The SSD drive, 8 gb ram, and ultrabook formfactor checked off those boxes. This is much more upgradeable than typical ultrabooks which was important. This laptop didn't solder the ram to the motherboard, unlike similar models in the same price range.
