Average Fans, Make sure your RGB headers are compatible

Strengths:

+ Sucks air in, blows air out + Moves a decent amount of air at lower speeds, increasing the speed up until it's noisy usually won't be necessary. + They aren't Noctua quiet, but at low speed it's still pretty quiet WEAKNESSES (Not enough room in weaknesses section) - The included controller is about as good as it gets given 3 buttons. That means it's pretty bad as far as your level of control goes. - The RGB is quite bright, which can be nice except the included controler gives almost no control over brightness. I hope you don't sleep in the same room as your rig, or else you'll be forced to shut down the computer or reach in the case to turn off the bright lights.

Weaknesses:

- Uses 5V ARGB 3 pin connector. The product page isn't very clear about this. The connector looks just like the 4 pin RGB header, but one of the pins in the middle is missing making it a 3 pin. You CANNOT plug this into a 12V 4 pin header. You CANNOT plug this into a 3 pin header where all the pins are right next to each other. You MUST use a 3 pin header that looks like a 4 pin with one missing. Both my GPU and MB are current gen and have ASUS Aura compatible RGB headers so I figured I'd be good either way, but NOPE. Neither of them work with this connector. Search the internet for sollutions to adapt one to the other, you won't find much. If you're not 100% sure your RGB headers are compatible, you'll probably be stuck with the included controller like me.

Additional Comments:

The listing needs to be more clear about whether your hardware will be compatible with the RGB. Just because you have Aura or VIVID or Polychrome or whatever certified RGB headers, does not mean these fans will be compatible. The included controller is better than nothing, but isn't acceptable at this price. If I had known I'd be stuck with the included controler I wouldn't have bought these fans. If you're unsure as to whether you have the right header for this fan's ARGB, don't buy them. Get RGB fans that are more clear about their compatibility, or save your money and get non-RGB fans.

They move air and they're loud.

Strengths:

These fans move a bunch of air and look good doing it. The LEDs are bright and well diffused through the fan blades to give a really smooth RGB show.

Weaknesses:

They're loud. Really loud. Hear em clearly with HyperX Cloud2 headphones on.

Additional Comments:

I'm increasingly disappointed with RGB fans, I just want a little clown puke in my case and reasonable air movement without being locked into a crummy program (lookin at you NZXT) or going deaf.
