Great bang for buck

Strengths of the product

- Great 1080p performance. - Quiet - Runs cool, temp peaks around 62° C - Gigabyte Aorus Engine software is simple and easy to use

Weaknesses of the product

- Plastic back plate feels cheap - Uber long card

Additional Comments

I purchased this card to replace my aging Zotac GTX 960. Finding a suitable replacement for the 960 without breaking the bank on a 2000 series card was difficult. This price point is the perfect placement for a card that crushes the 900 series and competes with legacy GTX 1070's. If you are looking to replace a mid to top end older card, look no further.

Great Value, good upgrade from RX580 8G

Strengths of the product

Quiet. Runs cool. Excellent 1080p and 1440p performance. Great out of box performance.

Weaknesses of the product

Not RTX (not really a weakness, unless your want RTX and it's higher prices). Only the gigabyte logo has RGB LEDs.

Additional Comments

Bought this to replace a sapphire Pulse 580 8GB, big fps improvement (up to 35% depending on game) over that card. Especially at 1440p. Generally impressed with this card, haven't owned a Nvidia card for awhile, not a fanboy of either, just AMD had better bang for your buck until this card came along. I don't care about RTX at this point; few games fully support it right now, so this will be fine for the next couple years. Though i don't think i'd spend more than the $409 i paid for this.
