Cheap plasticy micro usb port. Mine broke after 8 months. Don't recommend taking cable in and out all the time. Charging time will vary depending on AC power adapter and the phone.

It's next to impossible to get this thing to work. You can't just place your device on it. You have to constantly adjust the positioning and the angle of your device until it gets to the specific position this charger wants it to be at to start working, and the position is different ever time you use it. I've been messing with this thing for the past 5 minutes and it still isn't working. I do not recommend this product and I will be returning it

It's hard to say how fast this charges, as it is very difficult to get my device to charge at all. I thought that this charger would work by simply placing the device on top of the charger, but it only works if you position the device at a VERY specific angle. This is incredibly inconvenient to use and I will likely return it
