Picked this up about 6 months ago after our old inkjet finally died. Definitely didn't want to get another inkjet due to the shady practices going on, so we decided to invest in a laser printer. We needed something that could scan and print in colour so this is what we went with. It was very easy to put together and set up. You can print to it without the included software/drivers but to do more advanced print settings you will want to install the included software. I also had some weird resizing/fitting happening when printing before I installed the software. Be aware that this printer takes up a fair amount of space. It's big enough that you may need a separate table or desk for it. The only thing I really miss is automatic double-sided printing. You can only print double-sided if you manually flip each sheet. There is a print setting you can select to tell the printer you will be doing this. It works fine enough for a few pages but becomes a lot of work quickly.
