First day of use: wow

Strengths of the product

Very clear rotations in fps games. Improvement in colors over models from 3-4 years ago. USB 3.0 hub built in. Adaptive sync. Good pixel pitch. Small enough to not require lots of head turning out extensive eye movement to see stuff on edges of screen. Nice wall/arm mounting riser bills included.

Weaknesses of the product

Need a very very powerful computer to run it. Technically 6 bits dithered to 8 bits. Not red enough out of the box (switch to profile 1 and set custom RGB with red about +5). Included displayport cable is very short.

Additional Comments

I came from a zowie XL2411P and was worried that the difference wouldn't be much but with gsync enabled in eSports fps games with a very powerful computer aiming is so much easier. Just like how a 144hz feels 2x as good as a 60hz, this feels 2x as good as a 144hz. The colors are pretty clear, too, and you can turn on adaptive contrast to get a competitive edge when playing on dark portions. I'd it wasn't so cheap with cable lengths and the poor color out of the box I'd give it 5/5. But as it is, it's still a great monitor. Glad I got it.
