awesome mouse, terrible parts ME extremely happy sell those IPR's. This product is a perpetual ad for IPR"S

Strengths:

I owned prolly the OG non RGB version and with my hands being smaller I loved the mouse, buttons positioned perfectly for my grip. After many years left mouse switch failed, replaced with this model 2 years ago,

Weaknesses:

on #4 of this model. Corsair finally stopped asking for returns of failed units while on warranty, have 2 new and the original Og. Replaced Omron switches with a made in japan version 3 months back in 1 of the new ones, still going strong. Warranty process was painful across international borders during a pandemic.

Additional Comments:

If this is the repair i will gladly replace the switches because of the design/fitment for me. Would rather pay extra upfront get rid of the headaches. Best news is if it is viable repair i will replace switches on the OG non RGB version and smile on. But I believe the experience with Corsair will prolly keep me from buying there products in the future.

DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE

Strengths:

Feels great in my hand and ticked all the boxes for a great gaming mouse!

Weaknesses:

I've gone through 5? of these in the last year. The issues I've encountered are as follows: Double clicking Not registering a click Right click sometimes just clicks.

Additional Comments:

Nice mouse, but not built to last

Strengths:

Really enjoyed this mouse when I got it. the DPI switching is nice, and the fine tracking button is great for some games!

Weaknesses:

The left click is not built to last. I am now on my 4th one of these (all fortunately replaced by Mem's IPR plan). They have lasted me 6-8 months tops, and the IPR is almost up, so I'll be looking for something better

Additional Comments:

Nice mouse, but get the IPR on it, or you'll be buying a new mouse by next year!

A generally good mouse but cheap materials

Strengths:

It works really well for me. I love the feel of the mouse in my hand since I generally have big hands and the weight is perfect as well. If you feel uncomfortable with the weight you can take them off too to have a semi lighter mouse. Its not as RGB intensive as most mice I've seen and the one thing I love about it is the dial for sensitivity showing the colors of each DPI you set and having it go up and down with colour change is an added bonus. Most mice have those dials but without the color change so you generally can't tell which setting you're on and other mice have just one button. If your hands are as fidgety as mine, especially when comp gaming, having one button change the sensitivity and accidentally miss click having to do it all over again is such a pain the ass and this mouse gives you that comfort of having to know what setting you're on with color and having a designated up and down buttons so you don't have to miss click is a huge bonus.

Weaknesses:

It has a plasticky feel, which I don't mind, but after 3-5 months of use, it started peeling just a bit on my left click corner. I generally don't mind it, but I feel like they could've integrated better material on this mouse so that it doesn't have paint chipping.

Additional Comments:

Overall, it's an excellent mouse and for the price point, it's pretty ridiculous you can get a mouse this good and feels good. the next mouse Corsair should make for this line up should be overall better materials for the upper, but that's just me. People seem to be having problems with clocking problems after a good amount of time but that hasn't happened to me yet so, just be careful with what you purchase, especially if it becomes defective at a short amount of time.

Amazing feel, but certainly not an option.

Strengths:

-Very comfortable for semi/full claw-grip hands -Wonderful scroll response -Convenient button positioning, this is the ideal for the claw-grip player with a short-medium length hand.

Weaknesses:

-Drivers are inconsistent and can require frequent resets. -Frequent incompatibility with Windows 10. -All generations of this mouse share the same issue with a component/plate under the left click morphing after a rather brief period of use. -Forced to use the ICUE Software, which occasionally fails to properly clear old data/handle software updates without corrupting or breaking driver. -The signature Corsair middle-mouse button flaw.

Additional Comments:

Currently on M65 replacement #6, 3rd generation attempt, between my partner and I. Sadly, the M65 Mouse line has historically had several flaws inherent to the design. First, whatever basis the drivers for each generation were created on is rather unreliable. Software failures are very common, and require special attention to the Corsair product forum to receive specific driver patches, which you must obtain by messaging SPECIFIC STAFF and connection agents on the forum. From my understanding, since production in 2016, the M65 generation has a tendency to have a faulty metal axle, and/or weak plastic brackets that suspend this piece. Either the axle can come away from the bracket, the plastic bracket can break, or they could just be misaligned to begin with- This tends to lead to a button press on the middle mouse button flat out bursting through the panelling supporting the middle mouse button. Another issue is the left click bend-plate. One of the components under the left mouse button is frequently poorly crafted or improperly planted, and this usually results in odd behaviour, like the left click not registering unless you press quite hard on the button, OR, you take apart the mouse and manually bend this piece into a better shape. For those unwilling to do this, like myself, it makes this mouse quite a headache. It's a wonderful looking/feeling mouse, however, the headaches that accompany this one probably aren't worth the trouble for anyone that just wants to reliably play games, and not question their sanity at every angle.

Great mouse!

Strengths:

* Comfortable * Very tunable. * Works great with the rest of the Corsair gear. We run their PS, coolers, and LL fans and the whole ecosystem has been great.

Weaknesses:

Nothing yet.

Additional Comments:

Works as advertised and deliver a great user experience. Great to have all Corsair controls adjustable under the Corsair iCue suite. I wish Asus would hire the Corsair software engineers!

Left click breaks after a few months

Strengths:

This mouse looks and feels great.

Weaknesses:

Unfortunately it seems to be poorly made. The left click stopped working on me after a few months, with only limited use. Left click only works about 30-50% of the time, unless I press very hard.

Additional Comments:

I've done research, and this seems to be a hardware issue and not a software one. Would not recommend this mouse, despite its nice look and feel.
