Significant upgrade, unfortunate price premium

Strengths of the product

Incredibly powerful card. I've been running with a GTX 970 since that card launched but with recent titles getting hungry for more power and more VRAM, I felt now was the time for an upgrade. I currently game at 1080p 144Hz which this card can handle without breaking a sweat but I knew going forward I would eventually upgrade to 1440p and after testing with that resolution, it still handles it without any issue. Slightly louder on load than my old card but remains incredibly cool, around 58 degrees (custom fan curve via MSI Afterburner). One big plus for me is the built in bracket so you don't have to deal with sag, very well thought out design. RGB is decent but not too flashy. Gorgeous backplate design. I'm running this on an old Haswell build (i5-4670k OC'd to 4.3GHz) so even though it destroys the performance of my old GTX 970, its slightly held back by the processor so keep that in mind if you're running an older build like I am.

Weaknesses of the product

Definitely a premium price on RTX cards, more than there should be. Only buy this card (or any others) on sale like I did.

Additional Comments

Powerful card, high refresh rate and high resolution capable, great design for rock solid thermals and overclocking head room, unfortunate price premium but worth it on sale.

Very Nice Card, Pretty Expensive

Strengths of the product

This was the card we used in my son's build. -Boosts higher than the stated clocks -Very nice looking -Large heatsink, keeps the card nice and cool and remains nearly silent -Aura worked seamlessly with the motherboard (ASUS TUF Z390 Pro Gaming)

Weaknesses of the product

This isn't specific to just this card, more a complaint about the RTX series in general. Price is disproportionately high for the performance increase from the previous GTX 10 series card. Thanks to Uber Price Beat we did get it for a bit cheaper though, THANKS MEMX, you guys are the best.

Additional Comments

If you have the money, this card is a great 1440p card. Pretty much max settings at 1440p. Watch for a sale, or use Uber Price Beat, that's what it's there for.
