Depends what cable and power brick you use

Strengths of the product

Reasonably priced Charges reasonably fast once you get a fast microUSB cable and charger

Weaknesses of the product

Does not work with Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charger. Compatibility - Charge speed limited by cable and power brick used. Would have preferred USB Type-C.

Additional Comments

I haven't had much problems with positioning, but this pad depends a lot on which cable and power brick you use. Most microUSB cables I've used charge too slowly, including the packaged cable. They sometimes say "fast wireless charging" but only charge around 800mA according to the Ampere app. I did find a cable which charges at speeds up to 1,500mA using this pad. Devices tested: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - Does not charge fast with most cables + QC 2.0/3.0 power brick, whether or not it says "fast wireless charging" or not. Charging error with Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger. Astrotec S60 True Wireless Earbuds - Charging error regardless of power brick or cable.

Way too finicky

Too hard to use

Additional Comments

I have to spend minutes getting my pixel 3 into just the right spot. Defeats the purpose of wireless charging.
