Expensive? Yes. Ripping fast? Also yes!

Strengths of the product

I was really wondering how well such a massive die would overclock, but it actually does amazingly well, even on its air cooler. My unit boosts to 2,050 MHz continual in game clocks, and I have a heatkiller waterblock on the way to bring that number even higher. I get silky smooth gameplay on my 4K OLED even with RTX enabled, and my 100Hz ultrawide 1440p Gsync display is butter.

Weaknesses of the product

The thing is massive and requires three PCI slots to keep this beast cool. The stock heatsink is quite capable if your case has good airflow. It is also quite power hungry. I have my computer hooked upto a UPS that had no problem with SLI 1080s, but whines occasionally about load being too high. I dont think anyone is buying a 2080 ti for power efficiency tho...

Additional Comments

If you are thinking of going for top tier cards like the FTW3, Lightning, Kingpin, or HOF cards and arent using extreme cooling, you can save yourself a decent chunk of change here. This card is an "A" designated chip, with a capable cooler, great overclocking and a great warranty. It goes on sale occasionally, so keep your eyes peeled and use the Uber Price Beat and get the cheap extended warranty to 5 years direct from EVGA for $30 USD ;)

ohhhh yeahhh baby!

Strengths of the product

I splurged during the holidays and bought the EVGA 2080 Ti and don’t regret it. This card handles everything I throw at it on Ultra settings without issue. The fans can get a bit noisy but it’s not noticeable when your into your game. I recommend this card if you can afford it but of course the price is still very high.

Weaknesses of the product

Slightly loud fans when playing graphically intensive games
