Very happy!

Strengths:

-Rgb lighting is excellent in itself and the effects are amazing through razer synapse, tons of fun to mess around with as you can layer effects on top of each other -The clicky switches are super fun to type on, sound nice, but most importantly; fast when it comes to gaming -full metal frame construction gives it a nice weight and look -The size of the keyboard is really nice without the wrist rest, making it pretty compact for a full-sized keyboard -Dedicated media keys are awesome, especially with the multifunctional dial. -Super easy to clean and take keycaps off if needed -Wrist rest is much more comfortable than I anticipated and awesome for long gaming sessions

Weaknesses:

-Honestly, the biggest downside is that the special characters and dedicated media keys aren't backlit, but if you know a keyboard that's not much of a problem. this could be solved by buying a different keycap set? which I may consider doing down the road. -No USB passthrough bit once again, not a huge deal -Cable is a bit thick so it's hard to initially get it to do what you want it to. But that's expected when you have a 2 USB-powered keyboard. None of these weaknesses affect the actual usage of the keyboard, I'm just being picky.

Additional Comments:

I have tons of Logitech peripherals and was in need of a new keyboard, decided to go with this one and was a little skeptical of getting a razer keyboard, so far I'm very pleased with it and enjoying it for typing and gaming alike. The keys are snappy and quick, making it a blast for hardcore gaming. The sound of the clicky switches sounds super refined and satisfying to the ears. My biggest gripe is that companies are making 200-300$ keyboards and getting rid of backlit special characters, makes no sense to me whatsoever. The Rgb around the edge of the board is a classic razer RGB overkill, and I love that! Overall, if you want a clicky keyboard, I recommend the Huntsman Elite as i get excited to use it everytime

Not Worth The Price

Strengths:

The Chroma is always great on Razer products. I like how it does go all the way around the keyboard and wrist rest. The multi-function dial is a nice feature being able to customize it. The aluminum top plate makes the keyboard itself feel solid and gives it some good weight. The padding underneath the keyboard and wrist rest are great too, they hold both in place on your desk very well.

Weaknesses:

The keys themselves feel somewhat cheap in my opinion. And even though this comes with the wrist rest, I find it to be to thin and not have enough padding for my hands to rest comfortably on for an extended amount of time. No USB passthrough.

Additional Comments:

I feel that this keyboard is overpriced for the quality. When I compare this to my Logitech G513, the keys on the G513 feel a lot more sturdy and have more of a premium feel when you press down on the keys. Same with the wrist rest. I find that the G513 has a more comfortable and higher quality wrist rest when compared to the Huntsman Elite. And on a keyboard at this price I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a USB passthrough. Thankfully I did not pay full price for this keyboard. That being said, if you are looking for a high end gaming keyboard with the same features at this price point, I would suggest going with either Corsair or Logitech.
