Additional Comments

I have been looking for something to boost the signal of our Asus AC-3200 router. I love my router but getting full signal from the basement (where my gaming room is) to the 2nd floor of the house has been a challenge. I tried a D-link extender that kind of worked but it was a little more complicated to set up and the signal was weak to the bedroom. I had it plugged into the same outlet as this unit occupies and the difference is like night and day. I am so impressed how easy this unit is to setup and use with the app. The app tells you if the unit is in a good spot when it's plugged in. It takes a minute or so to get it back online when you move it to different plugs to find the right spot. All you do is plug in to a wall after getting the app and it asks for you WiFi password and in minutes it automatically sets itself up. If you have a bigger house you just keep buying more of these units until you get full coverage. It seems like I get almost full speed on the internet connection. It is not as fast as the wired connection to my router but it is fast. I have an internet speed of 300 M bits per second and I seem to get on average just under 180 M bits in the worst area of my house. The best i got on the main floor was 320 i think. Before i would not get a lot over 100 on the main floor. My wired PC gets on a good day 340 M bits per second but the average is about 250 to 320 for it. I don't think there is a limit to how many you can mesh together. I would suggest when you set it up to update the firmware through the app. It made a huge difference in the power and range of the access point. Buy it and try it you won't be disappointed.
