Strengths:
The Ram itself is good. I could easily overclock it to 3400MHz and higher with good overclocking skills.
Weaknesses:
The shields on the sides fall off. The Viper RGB program used to control the RGB lighting is complete garbage. The only way to have the two sticks of Ram's RGB lighting stay synced is to have the program open, but you can't set the program to run at startup because when it opens there is no way to run it minimized, so you have to minimize it manually. Patriot is aware and stated "our engineers are fixing this", but that was a year ago.
Additional Comments:
Spend the extra money on something better if you want good RGB lighting.

Strengths:
It's RAM, works as intended
Weaknesses:
Bad build quality. A (for lack of better word) facade on one of the RAM sticks fell off and when reattached, will fall off again at the slightest jostle. I have just decided to not fix it since it doesn't effect the RAM's ability to function, it just doesn't diffuse the RGB as well.
Additional Comments:
Works as advertised but the build quality is horrible.

Strengths:
Nice looking RGB with speed
Weaknesses:
Patriot Customer support is not very good. Be careful when exercising warranty issues.
Leary of quality control
Additional Comments:
I bought two of these at separate times in 2019. I got Memory Express to install on the mobo and everything is fine. As I am putting my computer together, the heat shield from one side of the memory stick comes off. I thought "no big deal", I stick it back on. It stays for a bit, but comes off a few weeks later. I should have took it back to MemX, but instead I contacted Patriot - I wasn't thinking. Patriot was not apologetic in their email. They don't even say what I have to do. Instead, they just send me an RMA number with directions and imply that they will replace my memory. I clarify that they will replace via email. I pay for shipping at my cost ($18 with tracking via canada post). I am running on one set of memory during that time it was sent. They send me back a "new" set of memory (wasn't sealed in new packaging so it could have been refurbished), but I can't get it to work. I tried all sorts of combinations and then realize that the "VIPER" logo is upside down from the set that I already have. So now the aesthetics of my RGB mobo looks strange with the ram sticks with 2 facing one way while the other facing another way. I tell Patriot and they ask me to send again (at my cost). I decided to just leave it.
