Strengths of the product

Cool RGB lighting effects More than enough for most computing applications

Weaknesses of the product

Rarely go on sale Can find other 16GB RAM for $20-40 less.

Additional Comments

RGB 16GB RAM kit of choice. But for budget builds where 16GB RAM is absolutely necessary, there are less expensive options if RGB isn't required.

Works well, looks good.

Strengths of the product

It works fine. It's plenty fast enough for my needs, mostly light gaming with occasional heavier loads. The lighting is great. There's no branding on the light strips or raised heat sinks that could block view from certain angles. The iCue software is very easy to use and has plenty of options for customizing the rgb lights. I like the softer look of the diffused style lighting.

Weaknesses of the product

It doesn't appear to go on sale that often.

Additional Comments

There are light enhancement kits you can use with this. It looks exactly like all vengeance rgb pro and sits in the ram slots. It's basically just the light strips with no ram functionality. They are recognized by the iCue software and fully customizable. It's a legit product made by corsair. You can check it out on their website, no shady 3rd party stuff here. A nice way to add more lighting without breaking the bank. The iCue software shows this as having a CAS latency of 15, rather than the 16 as listed in the description.
