Great capacity and power output

Strengths of the product

Large capacity. High power output (up to 45W / 20V individual, and 63W total if you use both A and C ports at the same time). Solid build. USB A and C outputs.

Weaknesses of the product

Size (~170 x 100 x 15mm) and weight may be unexpected. Minimal (zero) documentation (hint: use the USB C port to charge)

Additional Comments

This is a fantastic portable power bank with great output capacity. I originally purchased it to allow long-duration Nintendo Switch sessions and as serious overkill for a Pi-powered portable retro game setup :) This is my second Kopplen battery pack (the first was a 10,000 mAh that has never let me down in over 2 years of semi-continuous use). If you only need to recharge a phone and don't really need the higher output capabilities, consider looking elsewhere for smaller and lighter options. But to run or recharge USB-C powered devices and computers this is a great choice.

Works fine but no literature

Strengths of the product

- case appears to be good quality - Once i figured out how to charge it, it works well - I have gotten more than 5 charges out of it for my Google Pixel 1 phone and it's still going - LED lights for charging status are acceptable

Weaknesses of the product

- unit did not come with any literature - cannot charge using the Google Pixel wall charger (USB-C to USB-C). A stand-alone wall charger with USB-A to USB-C cable must be used.

Additional Comments

This is my first power bank charger and I was a little frustrated when I couldn't figure out how to charge it. Unfortunately the unit came without any literature. I found out that my Pixel USB-C wall charger cannot charge the unit, so I had to use my wife's Iphone wall plug with a USB-A to USB-C cable. Once It was fully charged, I've been able to charge my phone using the USB-C connection with no problems. The unit feels sturdy and good quality. I have no idea what the green LED means when connected via the USB-C connection. I've charged my phone also using the quick-charge port and seems to work well.

Actual delivers the specs and very well

Strengths of the product

Nintendo Switch Results Undocked: 11hrs 31mins Docked: 6hrs 32mins (Yes, it can power the dock with a TV attached via HDMI which takes additional power...impressive) Also it fits in the Mario aluminum case with the Joy Cons attached to the Switch plus a few games. Was not expecting this. It has no sharp corners like some other batteries which have damaged some screen. Total Bonus. Charges in under 6 hours (maybe less as I never noticed it was done as I was expecting longer) with the Nintendo Switch power supply

Weaknesses of the product

At this early stage I cannot find any weaknesses. Even the price was insane. Less than most regular (none Power Delivery) batteries, some half the capacity. I will update longer term use on durability.

Additional Comments

I was hesitant to pick up this battery as there were no reviews anywhere. Not even on the Kopplen website and that made me nervous as if you read the 1 out of 5 star reviews for just about any battery on Amazon etc, there is always someone who tested the battery and often discover the mAh is way less than claimed (like half in many cases). Anker seems to be the exception. This Kopplen battery was a gamble especially since you cannot return (considered a consumable). The price was right at Memory Expresses here in Vancouver who tend to carry decent brands so I took the risk. Here are my results with the Nintendo Switch (as power hungry device). To test I made sure both the Kopplen 20,000 mAh and Nintendo Switch were fully charged. I turned on the Switch, cracked the volume and brightness to MAX then started the stopwatch as I got into a Mario Kart match. At the end of the first race I simply taped one of the Joy Cons in the up position so that the Switch would not dim after inactivity and simply allowed the instant reply to loop over and over again. The reply is real time 3D versus a movie which as evidenced by the warm back of the Switch was pushing the hardware (perhaps not as much as BotW as I have read). Here are the results when it finally all shutdown. Undocked: 11hrs 31mins Docked: 6hrs 32mins (Yes, it can power the dock with a TV attached via HDMI which takes power...impressive) Reviews of the Anker Switch 20,100 mAh PD battery also tested my others to allow about 11.5hrs of uninterrupted play. I was honestly not expecting the Kopplen to perform just as well. It motivated me to pick up a second one for long haul flights and to write this review as I am sure others are avoiding this great battery due to the reasons I stated.
