Strengths:

None found

Weaknesses:

Very poor design in regards to screws. After opening/closing couple of times I am no longer able to open it (which I have to in order to extract SSD I have inside). I wish it was covered by warranty as I need to get another enclosure now, ideally - another device from another manufacturer.

Additional Comments:

Avoid if possible, try something else!

hard to fit hard drive in the port once attached to your computer will unlikely register or even show that it exists

Additional Comments:

Windows will detect the usb connection, but the drive will not appear. Seems like a faulty product, the m2 drives work with anything except vantec enclosures. STAY AWAY FROM ANY VANTEC DEVICES! They are just a pure ripoff.

Doesn't work - many open boxes - likely junky

Didn't work

Additional Comments:

Enclosure was found in windows, but drives would not be detected. Verified drive ok direct in computer. Support is email only. Best to look for a better option as when I was purchaing this, there were 5-6 open boxes there - which was an indicator that something is up with this product.

Worked perfect!

Strengths:

Needed to recover data off of an old HP Spectre laptop with a dead motherboard. Worked great, Windows recognized it and assigned it a drive letter and all data was available to copy over to another external drive.

Additional Comments:

Highly recommended.

USB 3.0, fast, small, portable, use with a WD 1TB SATA m.2 drive.

Weaknesses:

None so far, will update if something happens

Additional Comments:

Use as backup up and increase storage for my Mac Book Pro. Writes at about 20+ GigaBytes per minute.
