Good laptop with a few..."quirks"

Strengths of the product

Pros: -Very fast, overall it's not sluggish and honestly, this has great specs for a sub 1600 dollar laptop -144Hz screen, after using one on my desktop, I can never go back -CPU at 50° C and GPU at 40 ~ 45° C while idling -CPU topped at 75° C during benchmarking and GPU at 65° C The alrights: -Keyboard lettering does not light up, but the perimeter does. It makes the ASUS keyboard not super flashy, which is nice for me, but maybe not for others. -Keyboard itself is a little soft to type on, I use cherry MX browns on both of my keyboards at home, so I'm used to that, it's decent for a laptop keyboard -Weight, it's neither light nor heavy, nice inbetween for a 17.3" -1050Ti, would be nice if they had an affordable model like this with a 1060 6GB, without the insane price jump, but alas, there is not. -Overall build quality is alright, as I said with the quirks, it's inbetween, some things make me want to return it, other things tell me that it's build great for the price.

Weaknesses of the product

Cons: -Battery life itself is pretty short, not unexpected on a gaming laptop, but I was expecting a little longer to be honest -Noisy when not doing a lot, seems fans are either at ~15% or ~75% lol, so will have to play with fan curves to get something inbetween.

Additional Comments

So just got this Laptop 2 days ago and already ran into some issues: -Day one battery report shows only 93.4% of total available battery being utilized -As the other guy said, was limited to 3 mpbs download, even though upload was fine. Downloaded new drivers for the AC-9xxx adapter from Intel and that was fixed. -Touchpad makes a light clicking noise when I'm just using it and not actually clicking, pretty annoying honestly, seems common with ASUS and others have used a piece of paper to stop it from happening (poor QC) -That's it for now, will update as I use it more -Size, I'm a blind boy, so the extra size of icons is perfect for me!
