Strengths of the product

This computer is fast. The boots are lightning quick. The keyboard is one of the best I have used in a laptop. the RGB lighting is very nice, and the ability to customize is a very great touch. The display is vibrant and bright. The upgrade-ability is outstanding. I will be adding another 16GB stick of RAM for dual channel and to get a full 32GB. There is an additional PCle slot which is nice. The battery is the highlight. It is difficult to find a long lasting battery in a laptop, but this one has a 95Whr battery that lasts. The build quality is great if you don't want all the flash of RGB everywhere (which I prefer). The update manager tool is great as well.

Weaknesses of the product

There is some bloatware that needs to be dealt with. Some will require a full reload of windows, but that isn't necessary if you get rid of the rest. I had some trouble with a few games until I got rid of some unnecessary programs and optimized the drive.

Additional Comments

This is a great machine that boasts some impressive hardware, and utilizes it well.

Skeptical, but blown away.

Strengths of the product

Fast boot, feels faster than most in it's price range even though they all typically run NVMe. Build quality, minus the plastic trimming is a 10/10 Almost no flex in chassis Individually lit RGB Keyboard, unlike most competitors being zone based Huge, long lasting battery; no one else comes close.

Weaknesses of the product

Software. Some are glitchy, most have unfinished Chinese translation, but all are workable and usable. Chassis picks up lots of dirt/oil from palms/hands. Top panel can scratch VERY easy. Haven't had mine do it yet, but seen lots of others with it. Webcam placement, but who uses those anyways. Speakers. Don't know if it's my unit, but they sound BAD. Really, really tinny and just horrible. I turned off the Atmos and got lower but slightly better sound. Patch please!

Additional Comments

Overall, I was skeptical but I'd 100% recommend this laptop as long as you get a good one. Quality control seems to be an issue, but if you're on the good side - damn that side is good.

Best laptop I've had in a long time

Strengths of the product

The laptop is very fast, windows boots in minute and games run at 1080P with no lag/stuttering etc. The high refresh rate panel helps show off this amazing computers capabilities. No issues at initial startup and I have found very little that I like. I tried the Zephyrus S before and this one beats it , hands down.

Weaknesses of the product

Webcam placement isn' t optimal but then you get the slim bezel at the top. I wish it came with a free game or two for the price point.

Additional Comments

If you are in the market for an on the go PC replacement and don't want to lug around something over 3kg then this is the laptop for you. The price is a bit high but if you get it on sale then it's a must have.

Strengths of the product

Feels super solid and the keyboard LED's are stunning, fully customizable. Screen is very sharp from every angle. Battery life is great with the right set up. Very nice design for such performance.

Weaknesses of the product

Setting up the laptop can be kinda tricky due to driver updates. (While installing windows updates it froze, so I had to reinstall windows), Also It helped me learn how to really understand my gpu since when I first started it up it was only running of my Intel graphics and not Nvidia. This is fixed by some simple settings in the Nvidia control panel. But I always seem to find it difficult to get the laptop to that 10hr battery life.

Additional Comments

If it's under 2300 get it. Great for gaming and video editing.

An Amazing Laptop with some minor issues.

Strengths of the product

This laptop houses great power and can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. I have only been using it for a week or so and I am very impressed with the performance. It has a great battery life, if you are not gaming and doing regular tasks and I find that it's always good to plug it in if you are going to play demanding titles. I have used some 3d rendering apps as well and it handles that really well. It's a great upgrade. Keyboard is solid and pretty quick to get used to. The screen is just awesome even if I am not gaming, looking at the 144hz panel and seeing the mouse cursor moving smoothly across the screen, just feels amazing. It is really responsive, I went back to use my old laptop after using this for a couple of days and that felt so slow.

Weaknesses of the product

There are some problems with the laptop though, first I feel some of the keys have a pink tint to them when set the keyboard backlight to white. It's not a big deal but just something worth mentioning. The fan control with fn+Esc sometimes stop working for some reason and I haven't been able to find out why it is.. It works fine after a quick restart. The web placement is pretty bad but I guess it was just a compromise that had to be made for the slim bezels of the screen (which btw looks fantastic). Some of the gestures like pinch zoom don't work on the trackpad with the default drivers. The fan can get pretty loud under full load but I guess that expected for the performance it offers and the form factor of the laptop.

Additional Comments

Over all it's a great product and I am definitely not disappointed. Great laptop for productivity and Gaming.

Strengths of the product

laptop is light weight. under light uses such as browsing the internet and watching youtube videos fans remains relatively quiet. has Thin bezels for anesthetic pleasing look. Has great battery life for being a gaming laptop. Fan speeds can be adjusted. Performs well under heavy loads despite by being a thin laptop.

Weaknesses of the product

Webcam placement is awful, mediocre speakers

Additional Comments

Strengths of the product

Hardware Screen Performance Professional Appearance Battery Life Form Factor

Weaknesses of the product

Heating Bloatware (windows reinstall) Trackpad software

Additional Comments

A high performance laptop with great form factor and battery life. Requires some work out of the box (moderate bloatware). A clean install of windows helps significantly, along with some tweaking of drivers (trackpad). Hits some pretty high CPU temperatures during intensive use resulting in some CPU throttling, undervolting does help. Overall some small sacrifices considering the quality of the rest of the product. A very impressive screen with a tiny bezel.

Additional Comments

Laptop is pretty great; good graphics, great cooling system, great thin bezel screen with 144hz refresh rate, the hard drive is very fast since its a M.2 PCIe SSD, I could get an almost 2 hrs of gaming at high performance. I could play the highest graphics in Dota 2 with 70 fps and a 120 fps at its lowest graphics. The only problem I have is that the fan is very noisy at gaming mode. Definitely not gonna advise to play beside someone who is sleeping. I did had a problem with the mouse cursor getting stuck everytime i open an app, but it comes back to normal when the app loads. But now everything's good. I am very satisfied with my purchase ^_^

Heat to barely support the 8th generation i7+m1060, on the max-q1070 is a bit collapsed, after all, is a series of heat + thin body, narrow frame 15 inch notebook and the old 14-inch machine is almost large, cooling The effect is almost normal. Aero is the earliest narrow border game book, the interface is more complete, this generation on the 144Hz screen, it seems that the external version has 4k optional? General expansion, up to 32GB + 2x M.2, the machine is very thin, very business, but not very light, all aluminum alloy, a side is soft, easy to leave traces. The battery life is good, it has improved compared with the previous generation, but the capacity has not changed. It should be adjusted. There is no way for the nose camera. See if you can't accept it. Well, Gigabyte's keyboard is not bad, chocolate-style, feels moderate, the keystroke is normal, the rebound is strong, the feel is relatively brittle, single-point rgb, there are several built-in lighting effects, playability Ok, but the color of the left macro key changes with the light effect, you can't adjust it yourself. The touchpad has nothing to say. In general, the aero 15x is a good machine. The heat dissipation performance is slightly better than the competing product gs65, but it can't open the gap. Everything has its own advantages. Is the price in terms of force majeure compared to the previous generation price increase, the average person can not afford
