Get the Asus VG248QE instead

Strengths of the product

Strobing blur reduction capabilities at 120hz using Blur Busters Strobing Utility. Choice of Display Port or DVI-D. Height adjustable. Rotates. Sometimes on sale for a good price.

Weaknesses of the product

Poor shadow detail: it's hard to make out players while they're in shaded areas. Getting the strobing blur reduction working properly requires 3rd party software (Blur Buster Strobe Utility) and further tweaking in the SERVICE MENU (!) of the monitor. In comparison, ASUS monitors with geforce 3D don't require tweaking in the service menu, they're pre-adjusted. 144hz doesn't work over HDMI (not HDMI 2.0). Strobing blur reduction doesn't work over HDMI. Monitor started buzzing after a half year of use, at the frequency of the refresh rate.

Additional Comments

I've owned this, as well as the Asus VG248QE. I like the Asus more because it has noticeably better blur reduction with the strobe utility.
